At First Baptist Nashville, we are driven by three key affirmations that we summarize using the words "Gospel," "Community," and "Mission"...

gospel

We affirm the Bible's teaching that man is saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. We are committed to proclaiming the Gospel of God's grace each time we are gathered together, and to boldly share it in whatever places we scatter to during the week.

community

We affirm that the Christian life was designed to be lived in community. Belonging to a community of believers is about having the opportunity to grow together as faithful and fruitful followers of Jesus Christ. In community we find fellowship, comfort, accountability, encouragement, and love.

 mission

We affirm the Bible's teaching that we exist to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ, based on Jesus' final command to His disciples (Matthew 28:19-20). We seek to fulfill that mission by working together in evangelizing (going), establishing (baptizing) and equipping (teaching).

Hear the word

Watch a video of last Sunday's message. We believe that biblical preaching is about faithfully and accurately proclaiming the whole counsel of God's Word (Acts 20:27;  2 Timothy 4:2).

Give

Support God's Kingdom's work through our local body of believers by making a one-time donation or setting up a recurring gift. We believe that biblical stewardship is characterized by voluntary, generous, joyful giving. (2 Corinthians 9:6-12)
